Dovetailer - Northtech NT-DTM16 Dovetailer

NT-DTM16: Automatic dovetail tenoner, Quickly process male and female tenons simultaneously. Designed for parts machining for high grade furniture, construction materials, boats, musical instruments, ext., 2HP x 2 drive motors, pneumatic clamping parts, 16-1/4" width capacity, heavy duty precision spindle system assisted by constant lubrication of counter-rotating beveled gears (5100 rpm), includes 16 carbide tipped bits(P wing).

Standard Features:

• Automatic operation in addition to workpiece clamping.
• Tenon and mortise are produced simultaneously to ensure jointing accuracy.
• Choice of 8 or 16 spindle configuration.
• Foot switch control for added operation convenience.
• Top and side clamping bars hold workpiece firmly.
• Tenon thickness and depth are adjustable.
• Mortise depth and height are adjustable.
• Air/hydraulic combination cylinders for stable motions.
• Spindle drive gears are oil bath lubricated.

Standard Equipment:

• Proximity Switch Control - The feed forward and backward motions and mortise depth are separately controlled by proximity switchs. An additional proximity switch is used for controlling fast return of table for reducing non-cutting time.
• Workpiece Clamp Control - The workpieces clamps are controlled manually by two control levers.
• Automatic Upper and Side Clamp - The workpiece is clamped firmly by the upper and side clamp bars.
