Murphy Rodgers - MRT-7 Dust Collector

The model MRT effectively removes dust and waste material of wood, bakelite, plastics, chemicals, steel, powders, and particles produced by saws, sanders, surfacers, routers, sand blasters, and grinders, laboratories, bakeries, and similar operations. The collector is built of heavy guage metal throughout to resist damage or abrasion. It attaches to any standard 55 gallon barrel. The radial type fan wheel is direct driven by a continuous duty, ball bearing motor.

The extra capacity filter bag is fire resistant, and will take many hours of dust loading before shakedown. Note that all the waste material is collected in the barrel; None is deposited in a separate bag. For extremely heavy dust loading, a wye branch fitting can be supplied, and an additional filter bag will double the filter area on the 2 HP and 3 HP models. Similarly four bags will further increase the cloth area
