• Machining area - 78" x 78" x 36"
• Table Size - 60" x 60" steel table, the table is a servo driven, surface ground finish with T-slots on 6" centers
• Bridge - The stationary bridge will span the 60" dimension and will allow full table coverage of spindle in the vertical position. Vertical bridge clearance is 36" and the Z-Axis travel is 36"
• Spindle - The spindle is an 11.5 HP HSD "Quick Change" unit using ISO 30 tooling. The spindle speed is infinitely variable and programmable with a range of 2400-24,000 RPM. The spindle features ceramic bearings that are fan cooled and air pressurized. The unit features a replaceable "kit shaft" design for field repair of bearings and shaft. An M-code activated solenoid provides compressed air cooling directed at the router bit for improved cut quality and cutter life. The compressed air is cooled using a vortex "cold-air" gun. The automatic operation can be manually overridden
• Tool Carousel - The spindle is equipped with an 8-Position, bi-directional, traveling tool carousel for ISO 30 tooling. The carousel is servo driven to provide fast tool changes
• Drive System - Closed loop servomotors driving precision, heavy-duty recirculating ball lead screws. Profiled ways on all axes. Rotary drives feature a directly coupled brushless servomotor with integrated gear reducer
• Rapid Traverse - X-Axis = 800 inches per minute; Y-Axis = 800 inches per minute; Z-Axis = 1000 inches per minute; C-Axis = 100 degrees per second; B-Axis = 100 degrees per second
• Automatic Lubrication System - The machine's way bearings and lead screws ball nuts are automatically lubricated throu air-mist, automatic lubrication system. The forced air and oil lubrication seals the units and prevents dust from entering the bearings
• Controller - The machines controller is the FAGOR 8055 M-C 7 axis advanced HIGH SPEED 32 bit microprocessor CNC controller with an 11" high definition color LCD monitor. Systems include one megabyte of user RAM and 4 megabytes PCMIA Flashcard memory for part programming storage. Operator interface includes a full function keyboard, continuous/incremental manual jog keys, feedrate override dial, spindle speed override buttons, cycle start/stop, and emergency stop. An RS-232 interface is provided to up/download programs to the CNC. The following optional Control features are included: 2.1 GB Hard disk drive, Ethernet Network Card, TCP Compensation, Remote Teach Pendant
• Remote Operator Stations - Located at the front-center of table, under the table's surface, the remote station provides the operator convenient access to the "work set up" features: cycle start, cycle stop, and emergency stop
