The use of SBX Suction pads affords this suction spider te advantage of an additional vacuum reservoir and a large vacuum flow. This allows for aspiration of difficult-to-handle workpieces, for example pieces with unplaned or warped surfaces.

The modular gripper system consists of the various coordinated individual components. This makes the fast and economical setup of entire gripper systems possible, ensuring minimum cycle times and the highest degree of reliability. Flexible adaptation to each requirement through the combination of various gripper principles (vacuum, mechanical, magnet, ...) saves time and high process costs.

Standard solutions made from aluminum, steel pipe, and plastic elements ensure low weight and high acceleration through perfect selection of the materials. The intelligent valve technology additionally saves effort when picking workpieces

2. Longitudinal Cross Arm Longitudinal cross arm is available in the standard lengths of 2,500 mm, 4,000 mm and 6,000 mm. Special lengths can be manufactured variable (min. 800 mm; max. 6,000 mm)

4. Large-area gripper connection The connection is flexible and spring-mounted. Optimized for a stroke of 25 mm (optional 50 mm or 90 mm)
5. Large-area grippers By default the large-area grippers SBX with an external vacuum generation and a low height and weight are used. Optionally the large-area grippers SBX with an integrated vacuum generator can be used.

9. Large-area grippers with separation function By default the large-area grippers SBX with an external vacuum generation and a low height and weight are used. Optionally the large-area grippers SBX with an integrated vacuum generator can be used. The optional separation function, allows layerwise handling of air-permeable work pieces. Separation pulse flows through the sheets and prevents several sheets from sticking together when the top sheet is gripped.
