Schmalz Vacuum Lifts Large Area Gripping System FMC/FXC-HDThe large-area vacuum gripping systems FXC-/FMC-HD permit handling of workpieces of the most varied dimensions and/or with undefined positions. Goods made from the widest range of materials, such as carton, wood, metal sheets, glass and plastic, as well as with or without cut-outs, are aspired by the large-area vacuum gripping system. Automated de-/palletizing, order picking and sorting can be implemented with only one gripper. The large-area vacuum gripping systems FXC-/FMC-HD are of particular use to customers who require very fast cycle times and/or are particularly concerned about low operating and energy expenses. Even for customers who prefer the vacuum gripper's simple setup and peripheral magnetic valve technology, the gripper system FXC-/FMC-HD offers essential advantages. The large-area vacuum gripping system's particularly robust design permits high blow-off pressure and thus the fastest depositing of the goods. By using the large-area vacuum gripping system, energy costs are saved because the optimized interior volume ensures minimum aspiration and deposit times. By separating the suction and blow-off chambers, the air for aspiration and the air for blowing-off a product can flow through separate check valves. This permits cutting down on a magnetized valve, which makes faster depositing possible, while reducing energy consumption. The large-area vacuum gripping system FXC-HD is furnished with integrated vacuum generation, while the large-area vacuum gripping system FMC-HD is meant for vacuum generation by external generators. The optional separation function, allows layerwise handling of air-permeable work pieces.
