Northtech introduces the NT-820HCHD-XLT 32 " Production Series Double Surfacer, 60 + 50 + 10HP, 150mm, diameter spiral cutterhead, 8 rows 30 x 12 x 2.5, QTY-376(2sided carbide knife), 30-110'min. feed rate, extreme duty drive system with integrated friction clutch, production series gear boxes and universal drive joints, electronic digital oiling to chain infeed, 62R hardened spike system with (Japan) chain for spike infeeding carpet, auto digital table for positioning, surfacer designed to meet the demands of 2-3 shift planing mills.

• Heavy duty jack shaft and lifting column system
• Feed Motor 10HP inverter feed to 110' per minute
• Extreme duty gear boxes employed
• Steel is R58(spring steel) and will provide 2-3 time the life under higher feeding speeds
• System also will include heavy duty drive sprockets incorporated into chain system
• Feeding speed will be increased to 20'-110'min
• Machine tested and ready for installation
• Includes operators manual and parts book
