Northtech introduces the NT-610SS-XLT 24 " Super Series, 60 + 50 + 10HP (460V), 150mm diameter sprial cutterhead with exclusive heads with 30 x 12 x 2.5, QTY-280 (2 sided production knife 30-160' min. feed rate, increased chrome bed thickness to 0.012", 62R spikes integrated with (Japan) chain feed system of feed carpet, auto digital table positioning, guarding package, surfacer designed to meet 2-3 shift production demands. Extreme duty drive system with integrated friction clutch, production series gear boxes and universal drive joints, clutch added to raise and lower system (13, 480 lbs.)

Standard Features:

• New - Rear emergency stop system provides secondary access to quickly shut machine "off"
• Extreme duty gear boxes employed
• Steel is R58(spring steel) and will provide 2-3 time the life under higher feeding speeds
• System also will include heavy duty drive sprockets incorporated into chain system
• Feeding speed will be increased to 45'-135'min
• Horizontal brackets housing the 1,500 springs and spikes will be specially heat treated to prevent twisting or bending under load
