Northtech introduces the NT-450HCHD 18" Cutterhead x2 helical insert style, Cutterhead bearings "Class-7" NSK bearings , Total HP: 30HP top head + 20 HP bottom head + 5 HP feed + 2HP elevation (230V / 460V) pre-wired for 230V advise if 460 required, Top cutterhead positioning accomplished by means of a difital controller * ball screw + encoder + data input controller, feeding of lumber at 20-110 ft/min.

Flexible drive transmission system ensures "constant" feed rate of materials under heavy conditions allowing high finish of lumber, Raising and lowering of top cutterhead accomplished by precise synchronized lifting columns(4) with lubrication points.

• Knives are rotated with pneumatic screwdriver with adjustable clutch(included)
• Insert head to be of solid steel with 30mm x 12 mm x 2.5mm 2 - sided HSS insert knives
