4 x 10 CNC Router
Machine: CNC Router
Brand: Biesse
Model Number: Rover 24-FT
Year of Manufacture: 2003
- Moving Gantry Machine with 50.39” x 122” precision machined
Bakelite (laminated plastic) flat table with (2) vacuum zones so can
be operated like a twin table
- X Axis travel = 122” (any unit), Y axis travel is 55”
for routing, 50.4” for vertical drilling, and 36.1” for
saw unit; Z axis stroke = 9.8” - 7” clearance so that a
up to a 6.1” thick part can be loaded
- 10.2 HP Fully programmable cartridge type router spindle with ceramic
bearings – HSK-F63 type ATC; variable speed from 1000 - 20,000
RPM, RH and LH programmable rotation, pneumatic stroke is on a prismatic
linear guide for maximum strength and precision
- (14) Independent vertical spindles at 32 mm center distance, 7 of
which are placed along X axis and 7 along Y axis with oval cylinder
for higher thrust; (3) units for horizontal opposed boring, (2) of which
are placed along X axis and (1) along Y axis to perform horizontal drilling
on the 4-panel sides. 2.3 hp inverter driven motor, spindle rotation
speed 4000 rpm
- The spindle is served by a 6-position revolving tool changer installed
on the Z-axis board, it can perform the tool changes even during boring
operations. Maximum tool diameter = 80mm, maximum tool height from collet
edge = 110mm
- The machine has 4 external pop-up reference pins that are mounted
on the back of the table for locating parts. Includes (2) Side Stops
– (1) on the left side and (1) on the right side. On the front
of each table there is the operational push buttons activating the start,
stop, emergency, open and close clamp functions as well as vacuum meters
for each individual zone
- Closed Loop Yaskawa AC brushless servomotors with digital drive units.
Top quality linear guides provide the high precision linear tracking
systems for the X, Y and Z-axes. The X-axis drive system utilizes a
hardened, helical rack with hardened preloaded pinions for backlash
compensation. Hardened, precision ground, recirculating ball screw drives
the Y and the Z-axis. All linear guide systems and axis drive systems
are automatically lubricated by the central lubrication system that
is programmable by the Numerical Control
- The NC1000 Numerical Control is a PC, MS-Windows based technology
featuring a unique double PC architecture: the PC front end for programming
and operator interface, and a second PC as Real Time unit for PLC, and
axis drives management. Remote keyboard for axes override and emergency
push-button
- Machine interface computer: Intel Celeron CPU – 1.6 GHz, 128
MB Ram Memory; 20 GB Hard Disk, 15” Color Screen, USA Keyboard
with 101 keys, Mouse; CD-Rom Reader, Operating System Microsoft Windows
2000 Professional
- 5 position Dust hood - CNC adjusted for optimum dust collection in
any working conditions. Includes air blast nozzle that keeps tools cooler
and provides more efficient dust collection. Includes back and side
cage with emergency protected doors, wide three section safety mats.
The electrical cabinet is equipped with a 1500-Watt air conditioner
